Maybe I've been smoking too much crack. Would Carolina would be interested in trading Aiyuk for T'Vondre Sweat. He just seems like a dominate DT that would really anchor the 49ers defense on second round rookie contract. Maybe he has character issues. I think the 49ers wanted Sweat and picked up Evan Anderson. The 49ers would lose a on the offensive side but pick up a major defensive force.

It’s only highlight clips that we get to see, but Persall’s stutter step looks elite. If he can reliably break free in 2 Mississippi’s, Purdy will find him. With those hands Brock will also trust him. I love BA but the handwriting is on the wall. We can only afford one starting WR on his second contract. This year is clouded but next year, odd are Tricky Ricky is the go to, and BA or Deebo is elsewhere.

It is too bad that Aiyuk won't sign for what the 49ers are offering. It is still a boat load of money. Is he more valuable than Trent Williams, CMC, Warner and Kittle? is he going to put the team on his back? How do the other players in locker room view his hold out? Does he want to be the highest paid receiver on a bad team? Does he want to make above average money on a Super Bowl contenting team?
