John Madden talking about Ken stabler John Madden uses to say it was like Ken stabler was disinterested in the game until like the last 3 or 4 minutes. Because majority of time it seem like when the niners went no huddle when they had the tie the game up or score late or take the lead he was in the zone so maybe the 49ers should've just ran no huddle offense the whole games with Jimmy garoppolo.

Thank you for everything Jimmy throughout the past 4 years and in getting the 49ers to this high point. I still remember how hopeless things were before your arrival. Honestly, Kyle owes you a lot. If I have to be frank, Kyle had a terrible plan for the QB position, that was until Bill called him to offer you for a trade, otherwise I think the 9ers probably would have stayed at the basement for a few more years at the very least. John Lynch mentioned Trey and Jimmy both having a Midwestern personality, and I see it that way too. They're both humble, hard working, respectful and great teammates. Gotta admit, was one of the fans being very critical of his play. But he did great enough to bring us to the Super Bowl in 2019, and to the NFCCG this year at 3-5. Whether he was “carried” by the defense or the run game, he does have the talent to lead a team, and make clutch drives when needed. Just wish the consistency was there with the dude, but I am thankful for what he did for the faithful! I will miss the dude, and I wish him the best for his journey!

I’ll forever remember his very first drive! It was against the HAWKS!! A game we were getting destroyed in shockingly 🙄. He came out and scored a TD on his very first drive, and gave us so much hope! Only niners TD of the game! Probably the first TD we’d had against the hawks in years! It was so bad before he got here! Like could not have been worse! I thank Jimmy for leading us to a Super Bowl even though we did not win and I’m glad that he joined our franchise, if he does end up leaving he will be very missed.
