1A = String tricks. Normally butterfly shaped to help landing on the string and reduce responsiveness. 2A = 2 yoyo looping tricks. Normally narrow gap imperial shaped to increase spin stability and give better response. 3A = 1A but with 2 yoyos 4A = offstring. String attached to the finger but not the yoyo. Yoyo is often a big butterfly yoyo with softer plastic and rubber so it doesn't break. 5A = Counterweight. Like 1A but string attached to a counterweight not your finger.

4a is so much more fun. Trust me I've done both. I love 4a. Give it a try. Its also more unique and cooler looking.

haha, this comment sure is a relic. I came back to this video 8 years later just to relive some old childhood memories, but I can answer this age old questions even tho you probably know by now 😁 1A Normal Yoyo, Yoyo spins when you throw it, and you use fun tricks with the string while it spins 2A Double Yoyos, you have 2 yoyos (1 in each hand) and do looping tricks with them. Usually you dont use Yoyos that stay spinning after thrown, otherwise they'd be... 3A Double Yoyos, but they spin when thrown! You do string tricks with them while they're spinning 4A OffString, what we see here. Yoyo actually isn't bound to the string, so you can throw it into the air, catch the Yoyo on the string, and do tricks like throwing the yoyo around in the air. I know this is an ancient comment and you're probably well past this era of Hobby, but hey, it was fun for me to indulge in an old childhood hobby 😁
