This should be in the KZbin hall of fame. 37 now, and was 20 then when I used to ride the train from NJ to drink and see shows constantly in the city. New York will never been the same as it was then. The indie scene was incredible. God bless NY and the mid-late 2000's.

Annie is one of those great performers who can cover other people's music and make you fully believe in the story that they are telling you, convincing you that the words that they sing are, in fact...their own words. That's what this rendition did for me when I first heard it 16 years ago and it's the way I still feel today. As beautiful and stylish as Nico's version was, I never honestly thought that it was her experience she was relating to us.

A youtube comment can be like sharing your story or message with the abstract idea of the world. It can be pretty beautiful. People just naturally love to express.
