I felt exactly the same. But, I found others that felt the same and it allowed me to echo my thoughts. There was more than Ian Watkins in the band. And on top of that, Lostprohets were the soundtrack to my teenage years. The soundtrack means something. It's nostalgia, it's memories, it's cover bands and heart break, it's drunk nights and shenanigans like stealing a tennis courts net because we were drunk and it was funny. I think at this point, if the soundtrack to our lives matters we have to remove the artists from the song slightly. It's controversial but at the same time, this particular song holds meaning between me and my ex. So, I'll listen to it on the odd occasion. And that's ok. I'm not listening for Watkins, that guy can burn. I listen for me and my youth.
