When Nezuko kicked Tanjiro off, I went silent. Then her theme started playing. I was moved to tears. I don’t deal well with loss & I didn’t realize what was happening. Then she starts walking & speaks. I cried harder than the girls I was watching with. That moment is so beautiful. I haven’t read the manga, but I hope they follow it to the end & give everyone a happy ending. Specially the Kamado siblings. They’ve been through too much.

Boy oh boy, these ladies got taken for quite a ride, didn't they? Where the Entertainment District arc gave us one hell of a visual and auditory ride with that INCREDIBLE final battle with the demon siblings, this one gave us more of an emotional roller coaster to ride. My wife's reaction was more or less the same as these girls. Many tears were shed... by both of us, really. I've never had such a reaction to an anime in the 20+ years I've been watching. Hats off to all the people behind this studio for giving us one of the most memorable shows of all time.

Yea makes sense, this is the first anime to make me cry even though theres shows that are famous for having the most sad endings like clannad/angel beats etc, those shows are just not as intense or feel like there is so much on the line like demon slayer, its very rare for a show to have likable characters, very intense moments that are well written, and make you feel involved like there is so much at stake, ALL at the same time, clannad/angel beats imo are missing one if not multiple of those factors needed to make people like us cry lol

​@@jase276 Yea i dont blame you clannad is extremely tragic, but this show just means a lot to me personally bc i had a ignorant phase where i stopped watching anime for like 6 years, and demon slayer was the show that broke me out of it, and now it's been 5 years since season 1 and im still invested, so every fight scene has my adrenaline thru the roof and can't help but feel theres so much at stake, not to mention when i saw this scene for the first time it was at the theatre and i paid for 5 tickets for my friends, so for that brief moment where i thought i had paid 80 dollars just to see nezuko die and everything go to shit, i was so unbelievably pissed off i couldnt help but cry

Nezuko’s sacrifice hurt me I knew there was no way they were actually gonna kill her off, but it still hurt to watch As an older brother, my little sister would absolutely do what Nezuko did, she’d send me to save others, even at the cost of herself The idea of such a thing happening broke me, I couldn’t stop crying

Honestly, if Nezuko hadn’t kicked Tanjiro towards Hantengu, three swordsmiths and Kanroji would have gotten killed. Not only that, but Hantengu would have escaped and gotten stronger too. It’s crazy that Nezuko would make a decision like that; but it all worked out in the end. It’s incredible.

​@@Situpx tanjiro always said he wants to find cure for nezuko that's why he joined the corps revenge was not his priority at that time which also made tanjiro different from others he try to look for positive aspects in life but along the way he and nezuko both shown immense pain and hatred towards demons especially nezuko she literally don't care to hurt them while tanjiro hatred is mostly towards muzan but yes killing nezuko will only break tanjiro you can clearly see he didn't leave nezuko until she kicked him.
