Omgosh I really wanted to try this but I didnt want to go all the way to target to get it because my target is a too far. So today I went into one of the many beauty supply stores on main street to get the elasta qp creme conditioning shampoo and I saw the whole line of Giovanni products on the shelf and the direct leave in only cost 8 bucks. I let out a tear, I was so happy XD

This is my go-to leave in conditionner. I only use a dime size amount all over my head since it distributes very well. Usually my hair is in big chunky twists when I apply it. I MUST seal with some oil after applying that product (like 15 minutes after) otherwise, why hair becomes "sticky" dry the next day. My routine would be: 1. Apply it directly out of the shower (tiny amount) 2. 30 minutes later I would re-mist my hair (water+glycerin) 3. Seal

This is a great video. That was my staple leave-in conditioner in the beginning until I got wooed away by other products. Well, two weeks ago, I picked up one at my local Fairway and realized that I was missing out on one of the best leave-in conditioners I have ever tried. Big ++ is that there is no glycerin so I can use it anytime of year. Did I mention that it works great? ;-))

I know u LCO and your extremely low porosity like me, so how do you get your cuticle to open to receive this as the Liquid in LCO? My C is Qhemet Alma and Olive heavy cream, and my O is castor,olive blend. How do you get your cuticle to open?
@chasingshores8 жыл бұрын
You can try heating your leave in conditioner/liquid as heat opens up the cuticle for low porosity

Your video actually made me purchase this and the shampoo. I got my set on Puritain's Pride's website. 5.49 each bottle, shipping was free. Used it and really enjoyed it because I thought I lost my curl pattern but the leave in brought it out. My hair isn't as moisturized as it could be but de- tangling with a comb was very easy and I enjoyed the scent that came with both. Great video. I've been using the Monoi line almost two years with good results but this is a nice change.

Your hair looks so healthy :)! I'm currently transitioning, my natural hair is 4c as well, but is very though and tangles a lot, do you think that the shea moisture conditioner and giovanni's would still work on my hair? I always though that they worked better on looser hair textures, I don't know if it would just be a waste of money
@NaturalMe4C10 жыл бұрын
I use both brands and my hair does well with them. :) Knots and tangles are a part of my family up in this fro lol.

I mix Giovanni regular deep conditioner 25% with 25% Eco gel,50% long aid gel, and just a little oil as a curl custard for my wash and goes. This conditioner mix is very moisturizing without the crunch and achieve 7 day hair. I love the product as well.

Hi what is long aid gel?? Thanks!
@bylyn984610 жыл бұрын
It is a natural gel activator like Eco styler but its moisturizing because of the glycerin and Aloe Vera gel. I use it just because its adds a lot of moisture. It has a green label sold in Walmart and Walgreens. Google it and there are reviews on u tube. It takes away the crunch from the eco styler when mixed together.

Hey I need some serious help. I have 4 type hair and lately my hair has not been coming out as defined as I would like. It's been frizzy and dry. Is there any products you would recommend for a mosturized defined twist out?
@TheSupasweet10 жыл бұрын
I'm not Kriss but try a mixture of castor oil and glycerine (half and half). Yes, your hair will be sticky but it will be soft and defined. Just don't let anybody touch it. :)
@NaturalMe4C10 жыл бұрын
Sometimes twisting your hair on dry hair instead of wet keeps it feeling softer even if a little gel is added. But the definition of wet twistouts last a lot longer for me with and with out gel. Recently I find that the oyin hand made products have been working great for my wet and dry twistouts. On my facebook page I post lots of results and list the products used in case you ever wanna try the different combos. :) Wet twistout done with oyin (there are others on FB) facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=479805535473977&set=pb.432946690159862.-2207520000.1389708390.&type=3&theater Dry twistout done with oyin (there are others on FB) facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=484836654970865&set=a.432970943490770.1073741828.432946690159862&type=3&theater
