I will hope the Fandom outlives me. I want it to. Really bad. But if the Roman empire proves anything. Huh. This is the thought that I ponder all the time. But there's only one thing that's permanent. And that's death 😟. I want to believe.

@@nerfpup3089 The roman empire existed in one way or the other for over two thousand years from the establishment of Rome in 753BC until the fall of Constantinople in 1453. And one can argue that it still lives on in cultural aspects. I mean, I am writing this in roman letters. Many words I am using are derived from the roman language and you just need to look at art and architecture to see roman influences all around you. That's just to say that, if we believe and work for it, than this fandom will have an enormous staying power. Just look at Trekkies. They've been around for almost sixty years. Or Whovians who will also celebrate the 60th aniversary in about a year from now. There will be hard times ahead, but as long as we stick together and continue creating and consuming fan work, this fandom will not die anytime soon.

And there it is... I bought 'The Dreamers Door' about a month ago, purely to see the rest of the Chants ahead of your upload schedule. I especially adored the Selflessness and Allegiance chants. But then there was this little gem at the end of the album. Something i didn't expect but fell in love with. Something i didnt know i needed until i heard it. A reminder of our fandom. I've listened to (and liked) Princewhatever's 'Solidarity', however to me this just blows it out of the water. It's just that bloody brilliant. Speaking totally personally here, 'Solidarity' may be an anthem for the individuals within the fandom and the art, music and content they produced... ... But Life Outside is an anthem for the brony movement as a whole and a tribute to the show that birthed it. At least that's how i see it. When the vocals stopped and the electric guitar riffs (of many important songs within the show and fandom) began, i was convinced this was a perfect send off/reminder of the MLP FIM fandom. While the show may be over I'm sure many of us will still stick around, for the next season or just to keep the fandom alive god knows we are not leaving yet, but it feels good to see many great artists band together for a symbolic "last hurrah". 4everfreebrony. Thank you for the beautiful music. From 'Chasing Fate' (one of my personal favorites) , unto Light and Darkness, and all of the Chants, to your beautiful Monday Melodies and now this. At the beginning of the piece of music, you can hear a modern, big jammed city full of noise, later, when the song has started, the listener may get the impression that the author has crossed the portal-doors to equestria where he can finally experience peace (or simply float away into the world of imagination and creation artistic). You make what you want out of the community. If you truly want the community to remain alive, then let it be! As a music major, I want to give my share of feedback for this acoustic work that was given shortly after Friendship is Magic ended. A moment was given to each of the mane six in a way that clearly indicated who was being described. There was also imagery depicting the great, peaceful, magical world that almost every fan wishes was real. In the chorus, the figurative door that all of us as dreamers enter through is what opens our ability to see what such an indescribably serene place would be like which is displayed through the works we make with our shared creative minds. For the instrumental, different sections of canonical songs are referenced that are all in D Major just like the show's theme. When the song concludes, the melody to the opening theme is played only part way not only to pay homage to the series' origins, but also leaving the listener (who more likely is also an admirer in this community) to wonder what is to come next. The unfinished recitation of the theme that has been played at the beginning of every episode subtly states there is more to be said here, how Pony will not go away just because the show has officially ended. It will continue to live through everything fans have built simply as a result of their appreciation for a vibrantly colored animation that has been used to tell the story of people's lives and has even had the power to change lives; and there really is something truly magical about that.
@Oatmealism4 жыл бұрын
Where Solidarity is more of a power anthem, bringing the strength and resolve of the fandom to the surface - I felt this was more subtle, gentle and beautiful, capturing the wonder and majesty of watching those ponies, getting to experience their lives, and the impact their lives left on ours. Thank you, so very much, for absolutely everything. The Show may be gone, but the fandom is still strong, I have faith that we'll live long into the future. Long live the friendship we've found, long live the fandom we've embraced - As long as we never forget the lessons learned, and the show will never truly die, because its legacy lives in us.

I LOST THIS AND FOUND IT AGAIN WHEN REMEMBERING IT YEARS LATER RANDOMLY. I FOUND IT 😭😭😭😭😭 THE PART WITH THE INSTRUMENTALS. I FORGOT. FULL ON SOBBING. it’s been years. I forgot the name. But I’m here again. I’ve never cried this much again and again except for pony fan videos.

I still can't believe my ears years later. It's such a great song and it represents so much without blunt about it.

So, I listened to the entire album. They were all fantastic songs, but out of all of them, this one is the best. It feels like a celebration of the show, talking about how all of the Mane 6 became myths in time. That, especially given the release date of this song, feels like a sendoff to one of the best shows I’ve watched. Fantastic job on this one, I feel like me crying isn’t really a rarity anymore, but you still made me cry. This has to be one of the best fandom songs I’ve heard.

an absolutely beautiful Song. Love the fact that you even worked in so many melodies of the Original Songs. The whole Album also feels like it would the absolute potential for a Fanfic with 7 Chapter with the MC wandering through each Dream Realm learning meeting one of the Main 6 and Ending at the Dreamers Door. (Either being a Dream or waking up from a Coma or something). Too bad I can't write QQ. Things like this make me really glad I stumbled upon this Show and Fandom 1,5 Years ago thanks to KZbin.

I have to say, I waited so long for the chant series, bought the physical album at Ciderfest, but this song topped it off for me. So many amazing voices, such an amazing message. This song has made it onto my favorites playlist

I love how it's almost an unwritten rule that any tribute song has to contain the melody from At The Gala XD

I usually don't write comments on Yt, but this time I had to. A truly beautiful and also exciting piece for me. Thank you for bringing the chants to an end and for getting this song out. I'm sure the community will appreciate this job!

This feels like a goodbye. I might be wrong, but if it is, then thank you for what you've given us. You are one of my favorite MLP composers.
@jroxpone3 жыл бұрын
I mean they just made a mlp video not too long ago. This is more so a fandom tribute not a message of a goodbye to it. Their channel name is mlp based i doubt theyd leave that quick.
@jacksquatt60823 жыл бұрын
@@jroxpone I get that now. Actually I got that after seeing they made pony vids after it, but I just didn't change my comment. There have been a few composers/animators/artist/writers who were launched into popularity by MLP and then stepped away from it, rebranding and everything. I thought it might have been happening again.

This, this is what it means to be a Brony. To embody and embrace the ethics and morality of the show, to better embrace what makes us, us! To embrace and accept those around us, to show people that we all can be better though friends, Family, Harmony and Chaos! That only those who choose to be are beyond redemption and friendship. We are all one big, interconnected family spread far and wide around the word.

I really did not know what I was getting into when I joined the fandom back in December 2020. I knew it was gonna be fun and chaotic, but has exceeded all expectations. I found incredible stories and songs. I found wonderful, kind, compassionate individuals who work to make life a joy. I found a family. This song is one of my favorites because it encapsulates the sheer wonder of the show, and more especially the fandom. I look forward to many delightful years as part of this community. /)

I'm just going to add this real quick this song is beyond f******recognition and I'm just going to probably have to say this at least once but this had me going back and flashbacks prolate this kept me going and kept me having a good buy but also made me cry a little bit and normally don't give me that feeling except for sound of silence by Disturbed but however this song is just unbelievable because I just kept looking at the constellation of Twilight Sparkle witch by the way I want the background for my computer but overall credit's good job bro.
