Love all the Grand Trunk, trying to collect as much as I can, train yard was by my house. Great Job 👍

The Grand Trunk railroad was the first railroad I would chase after. Loved going to Durand on Friday nights! Listening to the dispatcher, on the scanner, get frustrated as there were so many trains he didn't know what to do with them all! Plus what he would call 'the no fitters' which were trains that are so long that they didn't fit in any sidings!

Awesome layout. Damn this is amazing. So much great stuff especially the motive power and rolling stock seen here. Nice weathering on the freight cars and alot of the usual roadnames from the Michigan area. Durand station also looks good too, great job on that. I was quite happy to see the GTW consist at the beginning and all those awesome GTW boxcars. Excellent video

hello "rockets" ... as i was watching your video over am coffee, it struck me just how nice your layout is and the great video work you give us modelers AND the many folks that cannot get out to see live trains or go to clubs/shows due to illness/infirmity/ or because of being home bound, which i am not. i thank you for them !!! then, just as i was thinking your video could not get any better, 2 lake state engines roll by and really steal the show !!! i have consisted my glr engine with an athgen prlx acu and boy, they look fantastic together and pull like the dickens !! imho, the lake state paint job is the finest livery to come out in years, way above most others, but i must add the new ferromex livery, i believe it is referred to as "zebra stripe", is also absolutely addictive !!! many blessings to you all in the 4FlyRockets club for reaching out and thinking of others !!! denny

Thanks for spreading the love! The LSRC engines are the new Walthers version and were just minutes before programmed, so this was the first time running. We were very impressed with their pulling power up the grade going through the helix! 😊

hey guys, it looks like cn sd 40-2 6253 has what looks like a broken stanchion up front by the ditch light on the left side . at 11:33 of this video, look right above the front coupler, as it appears there is something black pointing directly down to the top of the coupler. hope this helps. denny

@@dennisarmes3473 Very observant and I'll pass that along! The owner can add that to the list of things to repair as unfortunately, when packing up to leave, this loco took a nose dive on to the cement floor causing a lot of damage to the front anticlimber area. Never fear though she'll be back in service soon. 😃

Really nice mi question is all the locomotives are DCC LET ME KNOW PLEASE.
@4FlyRocketsАй бұрын
Yes Sir, all the locomotives in this video were DCC. We have the ability to run DC versions on one of the tracks but that is rarely done.
