Really happy that 4Freestyle decided to make their own freestyle shoe, so that freestylers doesn't have to rely on big companies continuing the production of our favourite shoes. There are some pros and cons with the shoes but overall I think there's definitely potential to make it big!

got mine about a week ago and personally I think they are almost flawless for lowers. of course being white they do get dirty incredibly easy. I find clipper stuff and eclipse slightly harder tho

I've had them for 1,5-2 weeks now and I love them! Never got the chance to try the Archives, so happy that 4Freestyle made them, now it's not any problem getting a pair of freestyle shoes. Been using HyperevnomX and Adidas x15 Court until now. The Explore shoes was a little bit big compared to other shoes, but they are defenitely the best shoes I've ever had anyway :D Great upper, and so light weight!! Anyway, dope video Philip, looking forward to more videos.

I agree! They are way better than the ones you mentioned, but let's just hope that 4Freestyle gets more support from us freestylers so that they can develop new models with better material.

Great review! Gotta say I 100% agree with you about the sole being slippery. I train on a wooden floor in a dance studio and it is quite unbearable doing anything standing up because I always feel like I am about to slip.

Awesome review man! I have them for a week now, i've done about 5 sessions with them, they feel really good! The only thing that "bothers" me is the not so grippy sole! But i mostly train outdoors anyway so its alright :) Hopefully they will last for atleast 3-4 months!

I think they can last 3 months if you cut your toe nails on a regular basis and don't walk with them too much when you're not freestyling.

Yeaah, you're correct. I really enjoyed them in my first session. But I didn't enjoyed at all because I have hip pain. But as you said, they're perfect for basic tricks 👍

I love these shoes. neither being slippery or the stripes were a problem to me. The biggest issue for me is size. 4freestyle 43 is bigger than Adidas 44. Personally the touch is the best I ever had.

Yes , but not on the same type of gym floor you used i think. I think those floors seem the slippery ones with these shoes.

Good call. The slippery surface of wooden floors really messes the soles grip up, so it'd be better to use them outdoors. Hopefully, they will bring the gripbricks into the next model.

Depends on if you freestyle mostly indoor or outdoor. I do indoor mostly, so for me, no. But if you do outdoor, go nuts!

I would go true to size! I did, but since my feet are so wide, they didn't really fit well.

Do your feet get a lot of air when freestyling in the shoes?

Doesn't breathe as much as Archive, but much more breathing than all other fs shoes, eg gazelles or elasticos

I compared the sole on the 4freestyle & archive lite on my 4freestyle the sole seems to be more smashed down, but the archive lite sole is still sturdy & isn't smash down as much. Do you also see that on the shoes? I love everything on the shoes but sole

+Philip Warren Gertsson I haven't trained indoor yet but I have trained on turf & it is sort of slippery. Imo if the sole was stronger & as you said has more grip. Id think the shoes would be perfect. I'm going to dm 4freestyle & Tobias on insta about this. Also great video man! Please do some more review & a lot of vlogs or training sessions!! 😊

How would you say the soles are for tricks that are centered around the soles? Is it a little difficult seeing as they're slightly slippery or are the decent for it? Great review though, I'm considering getting them for Christmas seeing as though my Puma Elsus were just as good as the £4 ones I use now haha

I think they were great. Was a bit difficult to get used to doing soles and stuff since the sole is different, but after one sesh, you're set. The slippery part only applies to your traction when doing lowers, blocks and all that. The Elsus are too heavy imo. If you wanna try something new, go with these.

Philip Warren Gertsson Alright, thanks! Yeah, I agree. The Elsus are decent but the space between the outside and the inside was much too thick so control was limited. The shoes I currently wear are really cheap and pretty much intended for 1 month holidays since that's about how long they last, but they're canvas so they actually aren't bad, it's almost like being bare footed except you get more control while juggling and your feet aren't battered raw when you're done haha.

Thanks! Well, actually I don't know. Only tried the League 1 Beau Jeu type ball. It was good for lowers but absolutely horrible for everything else. But I would guess the original Beau Jeu or Cafusa.

I think the upper material is the same. So it would be just like Archive with the broken toe. But it's good to be supporting a freestyle brand!

If you train indoors, stick with archive. If you train outdoors, try the Explores and see for yourself which ones you like better.

They tend to be big? Because I'm a fucking bigfoot and I use a 46 size with my archieve lites, but the explore max size is 45 so I don't know what to do...

Nah they run true to size. So usually you would need 47 ( for regular shoes ) so we'd have to wait for the Explores to come in 47 or you just have to clip the toe off :p
