If you didn't listen to his music, WHY did it hit you so hard? I didn't listen to his music either. I hardly even knew who he was - I saw him ONE time on Hip Hop Squares and that was it. Long post: Nene's abandonment issues are out of order. She's focused on being THE Queen Bee/HBIC/OG/King Nene because she feels that's the most guaranteed way to make people stay in her life. In her mind, if she's THE QUEEN, then everyone will make it their life's mission to please her, thereby never leaving her due to a fear of disappointing her. Her behavior is predictable. When she feels she's doing greater than the others in life, she's chill and supportive and "Big Sis" and "friend" and all that. The minute she feels others are doing greater than she is, her fear of them abandoning her pops in: "OH, NO! They will leave me because they have their own success that I'm not a part of and they'll find someone else in that new life that I am not a part of!"
