I reveal Basic information that I was seeking prior to purchasing my Sprinter that I wish I had known! Fuel Economy was the main factor for me after finding a van that could do what the Sprinter could do, on & off the road with reliability.
In this series, I'm going to get real about what I love & what I HATE about this van! Do I plan on keeping this for the long haul?

Yeah curb weight is about 5000 lbs the GVW is around 9500 lbs

I recognize these roads. I’d say we are neighbors. I’m looking at the AWD transit and sprinter for work and play. Would you buy the sprinter again? Also how does it do in the sand? I have the DEM permit for my 4x4 truck to drive in the souther beach of our state. The van will replace the truck…. I think.

I like these vans but a retired diesel mechanic who worked at a UPS service shop said Mercedes delivery vans were the absolute worst one in the fleet requiring the most repairs. Not my words just from someone who worked on them.

That’s so interesting to hear different experiences from different people. I’ve actually heard the opposite with the diesel engines and 2019 four-cylinder gas motors I will be making another video. Of course that will be personal.

The official website has weight, empty car about 4000-5000 pounds. It won't reach 9,000 pounds, which means more than 4 tons!! Two Lexus LX570.Thanks for the video, though

That is the weight for the rear wheel drive version which is quite lighter However, I did share miss information as the vehicle is obviously not 9000 pounds empty. I will be waiting in empty at the scrapyard tomorrow, and I will be making a video to upload. I really appreciate you commenting
