@@CUENTADEKZbin-YT Hi. Yes, L-39 NG can carry fuel tanks on the pylons. The reason, why you didn't see that at Air Shows, is maneuverability of the aircraft. You don't need have big endurance 👍🙂

@@MUCSpotter Yes, that is the question. Anyway, especially for Austria, I would see the new Skyfox as more suitable. The purchase price and operating costs are almost comparable to the turboprop aircraft currently used by Austria. At the same time, however, it offers much more than a propeller machine. And if I look at the history, the operation of the SK60 is closer to the operation of the L-39NG(M-345) category aircraft than the M-346. The latter is significantly more expensive and, moreover, developed with an emphasis on combat tasks, as in the past, for example, the AMX, L-159 Alca or Hawk 200. Alternatively, the supersonic FA-50, T-38, T-7, Hurjet. And this country is not in the habit of operating several types of combat aircraft, as is the case with superpowers or larger states, or during the Cold War. In short, a propeller machine is enough for basic training, a jet plane for continuing and combat training with the possible possibility of combat deployment, and finally the main combat type. Then it can also fall into incredible states, such as in Poland, where the TS-11, Su-22, MiG-29 are expiring, the F-16, M-346 are in service, the FA-50 is being introduced, the F-35 is being ordered and is being considered o F-15 or EF2000. And I'm not talking about helicopters or main tanks, which they also need from almost every country that has them in their production program, but we're already somewhere completely different :-)

So far, only prototypes are flying here, and in production there are aircraft ordered by new users such as Vietnam, Hungary and the Czech Republic
