Technically Media Encoder uses Main Concept®️(‘s) h264 video library (software) which they claim is much more efficient than the original x264 (libx264). For me, I take a ProRes 422hq - 4444xq and re-encode in SVT-AV1 which would ~30-50% more efficient at the same bitrate than x264 and even x265.

Watched your previous one as well, it's amazing. The latest is v5.0.2 by the way, I hope you get that soon and make a tutorial on that. That one is slower though and crashes quite often.

Can you make a separate guide for uploading on TikTok? The settings would need to be different, as TikTok severely reduces quality, and i have no idea what to do to have a high quality edit on tiktok!

When I use hardware encoding I cannot put my profile at high and level at 5.1, it’s stuck at main and 6.2 so should I use software encoding or still hardware

You can if you are not using flowframes for twixtor but since I do it decreases the quality so I upscale it after I’m done with the edit if you don’t use any 3rd party for twitxor you can double upscale before you start editing or apply the CC
