Matthew Joseph Peak designed the original artwork for the first five Nightmare films. I love that they were all hand-painted. And the laser disc for Dream Child is the only other way besides the VHS to see Dream Child uncut. Awesome video, man! I love the Nightmare franchise. 🤘🏻

I picked up a sealed new copy of that nightmares DVD boxset last week it’s such a great set my older one fell apart years ago getting a nice plastic protector case for this for sure. Great seeing your collection so rad ! 🎉

Great that at least the first one is coming out, but WB knows very well that we want them ALL. Yes, we want the good(first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and New Nightmare), the bad(Freddy's Dead), and the ugly(the remake). Paramount already screwed the pooch with Friday the 13th on 4K, which made fans hug their SF box set tightly(you don't see any sequels on 4k coming out anytime soon). Don't do what Paramount did, WB. As for favorite? Despite enjoying my blu-rays, there was nothing more epic and satisfying as a fan than the 1999 DVD boxset. It was glorious. That's the template they shoulda followed instead of that lazy job they did on BD.

As much as I love the DVD of the original that came in the cool boxset, the New Line Infinifilm DVD is easily the best, as much for the picture and sound quality, as for the bonus features.

You can watch the daughter's dream sequence in 3D when she goes into Freddy's memories. She puts on her 3D glasses and you put yours on.

I really want to get the whole set of the German Mediabooks on Blu-ray. They all have the original poster art on the covers. Padded and the spines also make one large image. Gorgeous set.

I picked up the Blu-ray box set when Best Buy did a lenticular slip. I think just the eyes are lenticular but still, have the slip makes the crappy box set just a little cooler.

Only the climax of Freddy's Dead was in 3D. When you watch it in 3D, once Maggie puts on her 3D glasses, the disc will switch to 3D. It is anaglyph (red/blue) so it's not very good or easy on the eyes. That was how it was shown in theaters though. I still have my original glasses from that showing and they're packed in that box set. It needs to be redone in Real 3D, so it will at least look better as a 3D effect.

@Born2BeRad DUDE! I got the set in the mail, and it is almost emaculate! The individual cases have no dings, the discs have never been played, I can tell. For a set that is 25 years old, I'm amazed that it looks damn near brand new... I only paid $18 bucks for it.

I have the original movie on special edition 2 disc DVD. The first 7 movies in a 7 disc boxset DVD. Freddy vs Jason on 2 disc DVD and digital. The first 7 movies in a Blu-Ray boxed set.
