I jumped out my room for recording the sudden thunderstorm.
The rain was so heavy that people had to taking shelter from rain at the entrances of buildings.
Hope you enjoy walking alley in the dark night with the sound of heavy rain and reflection of light
If you wear earphones or headphones, you will get the feeling like you are actually walking in the heavy rain.
Location is Shinmachi, next to Shinsaibashi Osaka Japan.

A lot of people only say they like the sounds of rain but I like everything that has to do with rain especially on a visual level. Seeing the rain pour down while the thunder roars in the background, seeing the sky turn gray as the clouds huddle up and finally the feeling of rain hitting your body as you start to feel goosebumps. The sound of rain does have a calming affect but there is much much more seeing somebody walk through the rain filming everything as if we were also there experiencing it with them. I usually don't like rain vids at night and in the city, I personally prefer rain in nature such as parks, gardens, villages and forests. Seeing something so beautiful and bright all the sudden turn dark and gloomy when the rain does its magic is so satisfying for me. Also seeing and hearing the rain at an open scenery is much better than the city as the buildings are too distracting for me. Most people watch these vids not only cause of the rains sounds but also for studying, sleeping and whatever ASMR is. I do because I actually genuinely LOVE rain, the concept of rain, the aesthetics of rain and everything rain. To me it's on a spiritual level. Thank you Drifted Films for showing us this masterpiece however I like 'Indian Ambience' a little more cause of the naturistic scenery in the villages. It's more than just listening to the rain for whatever ASMR, you gotta feel it like you're actually there. Hopefully true rain lovers are eating good.

Thank you. My filming is one cut long so I set iso800 as the upper limit at night. And I use normal profile.

@@driftedfilms awesome thanks, I shoot walking videos of my city from the same cam but always have noise issue at night. I guess it's because I use 1600 -3200

@@wild-dhillon I think iso800 is the limit to shoot with less noise in normal profile. Only 30 fps at night. Very dark places with no street lights are recorded really dark.
