David, compared to when we visited right before the world shut down in March, 2020, this area was very busy! Lots of people and traffic congestion. The area around the Sands complex looks deserted. Thank you for the video!

Hello Paul, this avenue is very busy from Monday to Friday at peak hours but on weekends the street is free.

Don't worry, Paul. The traffic is there if not on an early Sunday morning during a vacation period with the schools closed. A couple hours later, the local walkers and tourists show up and the area is as busy as ever. Generally, David does his "walks" when the streets are not so crowded. One exception to that was his walk at the Amador Causeway, but there it is the crowd that is the story, not the buildings!

Hi David. Thanks for the great video. You’re getting your 10,000 steps for sure! 😁 I will be moving there at the end of this year. Your videos are very helpful to see what the neighborhoods actually look like. 😊 Is there a part of Balboa Avenue that is less noisy to live in one of the high-rise buildings? I’m considering that street. I’m OK with some noise, but I hear that certain parts of Avenida Balboa are better to live on than others due to the noise, festivals, fireworks, etc. Thanks David!
