Thanks for this long walk. After watching many many posted walks of Grindelwald walks, I finally got my bearings in Grindelwald. We’ll be in Grindelwald for a week this June. Your video helped a lot. I finally figured where our chalet is relative to many things in the village. Reading the map is very confusing because of the terrain and topography of the village.

Phil O'Saurus hi Phil, those are good suggestions I’m not sure how I would make that happen but I’m open to suggestions. I agree about the Muslim girl, I do like it when there are fewer people around and I have the mountains to myself. I guess that’s the cost of having everything be so beautiful and accessible. I love all your walks. The scenery on this one was beautiful, but there was a lot of noise in the background that I don’t remember hearing on any of your other walks. It sounded like landscapers were following you around. Other than that, I love your walks. I hope you fixed the sound problem.

Sorry about that. I can't remember why it's like that but I've had audio issues on a few different videos over the years. When walking through the smaller towns or the single restaurants on the hiking trails, I’m pretty sure it is an all cash society and is it all francs or do they also except the euro too?
@CityWalks3 жыл бұрын
Depends. Some places that see more tourists will accept euros or even credit cards.

Nice video! 🙂👍 Grindelwald is a very nice town but also pretty crowded. I was there many years ago with my husband (on the camping of Grindelwald). I have a suggestion for you you may be interested in. Visit the Ober Engadin in Switserland (near to St Moritz). I went there for many years and is not so crowded as Grindelwald, but also really beautyful. You can do all gradations of mountainhiking/trails with spectacular mountain views and many beautyful (smaragdgreen) mountain lakes. I hope to see (soon) a nice Trail from you (for example the 'Steinbocktrail', from Muottas Muragl to Pontresina. 🤗😉
