the trailer is cool but when u pay attention is actually dark af, here's why : - Most people in the trailer already dead from Aperia omnium disaster, maybe only some important person still exists bcs they were put inside a chamber or cloned by Hykros? - Mia was an old unit from before apocalypse, it seems she was also mass produced back then but only one left rn that is with MC and Shirli, this is also the reason why Shelly can't fix Mia bcs her tech was too outdated.

The omnium concept is pretty simple actually, just think it as our sun. Million years away yet we can harvest its energy here in earth, the rays itself can cause skin cancer. Comet Maara in tof is like this. In our world we have Greta , in tof world they have Azure Aida or environmental activists group before soon becoming Heirs of Aida. In our world we have NASA, backed and funded by science organizations and billionaires. In tof world, they have F.H and Hykros working in the shadow

It's both to stop whatever this person is trying to do and rescue Shirli. I don't know why this simulated past is special in particular, but maybe Nemesis caused it and is related to her goal.

ToF has looked good for a while. It just had terrible first impression due to bug and monetization. Past that, the Dev went all out to fix as much as they could and make interesting stuff. Its pretty telling that the underwater level of ToF is better than Genshin that came out a year after. In general the game outside story has been Genshin if not higher for awhile now. It really needs a year or two to cook a bit to avoid first impression backlash. Genshin got away with it thanks to being the only F2P looking AAA fame at the time and covid.

Watching the trailer, I thought story was going to start focusing on the MC more... Until I saw the last part. "I won't stop until I find you". Heh, they had us in the first half xD So... reboot is a separate server in cn, no actual "reboot" like wiping out current data will happen, and reboot server in CN = it will be called classic server in global if ever they decide to launch it.. i repeat.. it is a separate server with no powercreep, for tryhards in mmo gameplay with reworked weapons with no powercreeping
