［4k］ Cosmos Flowers 昭和記念公園のコスモス Showa Memorial Park in Tokyo 東京観光 花の名所 花見頃

撮影：2014年10月7日、昭和記念公園の満開のコスモス。この公園は昭和天皇の在位50年を記念して開設された立川市と昭島市とに跨る国営公園。秋になるとイチョウ並木が人気だが、園内の「原っぱ」や「花の丘」には、秋の風物詩ともなるコスモスが咲き誇る。原っぱ東花畑には９月下旬に見ごろになると８０万本のコスモスのハッピーリングが咲き、さらに原っぱ西花畑は、10月下旬に種類も豊富でイエローキャンパス、イエローガーデン、クリムソンキャンパスなど６種類70万本が咲き誇る。また花の丘は春先にはポピーの丘だった場所が、秋にはコスモスの丘になり、400万本のコスモスの「ドワーフセンセーションピノキオ」がピンクの可憐な花が風に揺れ、園内の小高い丘を染める。

This government managed park was created to commemorate 50 years of Emperor Showa's reign.
Visitors to the park may enjoy a walk through the forests and over the spacious lawns, while viewing the beautiful flowering plants, and savouring the tranquillity of nature.
The park has the most impressive fields of cosmos flowers in the capital region and this is the ideal time to see them all in full bloom. The hilly grasslands of the park usually become draped in colour from the middle of September, and the multicoloured scenery can be enjoyed well into October.
