Doom the Dark Ages looks so good. Can’t wait to play it. Expedition 33 looks like something I might pick up to. I’m impressed with what they’ve shown so far but I’m always cautious about new ip these days. I’ve never played Ninja Gaiden but if it doesn’t release till fall I’ll have finished Doom by then so I’ll probably try it. Anyone else prefer buying the games instead of just having them through game pass though?

I'm here for Doom, but as someone who has always LOVED turn based games, with my top 3 being FFVI, Legend of Dragoon, and Golden Sun, Expedition 33 looks fucking AMAZING and I have very high hopes for it. So far Doom is a little disappointing on the "executions", they REALLY dumbed them down, feels like Halo assassinations, they were introduced, became MASSIVELY popular, then they decided to stop doing them to the detriment of the series...

I'd like to applaud Id for bringing Doom back to a core of simplicity. I don't come to Doom for 18 ways to attack mapped to different buttons and non-stop canned glory kills. I'm glad to see a focus on good gunplay and movement and (hopefully) a return to ammo management that doesn't force you to pinata some out of enemies all the time. The changes look really good. I'm pumped to try Dark Ages!

All these games look promising. 100% should be given a chance. Watching this showcase made me realize somethings about myself and about gaming. I would like more RPGs that give you freedom, something in between elderscroll and mass effect level of freedoms. Not a lot of games capture me now of days. A lot goes into that. I think one of the biggest issues for me a lot of games don't feel like they're rated M. (M doesn't mean the quality of the game is better, but I expect way more out of M rated games more so than T).

@@victorkreig6089 I don't 100% agree with that. The og was linear, but still had elements. Andromeda had open world but could have been better. It's why I say between the two games. ES games are fun, but because it's so open world you can do anything. og ME was linear and could have had open world for a bit more fun... I like progression, even though I love ES games the freedoms you have can have setbacks for an amazing experience. Edit: Also you still has some freedoms in ME it was all not just set in stone.

it's really a shame that I like Bethesda games because I am constantly disappointed. I've never seen a development company that seems capable of moving backward, but Bethesda has apparently figured it out.. nothing on any fallout remakes, nothing on oblivion, nothing on repairing the damage they did to fallout4 ( which I wouldn't expect them to admit to in this venue) nothing on making Starfield a coherent and interesting game, nothing on elder scrolls6 & nothing on fallout5.
