That’s poor thinking bro .. American car centric infra is bound to fail in the long run. We should follow the European model with small roads which are pedestrian friendly. A multi nodal mass transit should be built .. like Subarban rail, metro , trams , BRTS and waterways..I think Mumbai although slowly is doing it the right way in my view

Because they have no class, no taste, and no self awareness. There is not one metric in which any other Indian city does better than this part of Mumbai. Not one metric. All of them talking about pavements - no other Indian city has pavements even of this width for such a continuous length. Not one, I have seen Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore - not one. They have wires hanging everywhere. Chaotic tuk tuks. Just forget it, to understand what is good and bad quality of life you have to come from somewhere good. You come from the gutter you will have no way of evaluating things.

@@arpanmukherjee6292 I have, are you delusional. My office is in cyber City. There is nothing posh about Gurgaon, only cyber hub is great and it's a commercial area with offices. It is not posh at all and not posh to live in. It is so much poorer looking, there aren't even any proper lights on the roads - some weak white lights, no pavements, no posh houses, what are you talking about? At least if you said South Delhi I'd have something to debate about. This place has trees, parks, beaches, some of the poshest schools in the country, film stars' houses, safety where women can dress however they like anywhere, which is another reason why it's such a pretty neighborhood... Gurgaon barely even has proper foliage, forget beaches or pavements. To compare juhu and gurgaon in this way is so insane I don't even know why I am bothering to argue. It means you have not seen anything in this world and don't know the meaning of the word posh.

That's the only way. "Wide roads" that also I didn't deny - you have some highway looking roads, with no pavements, no semblance of basic qualities of a city. I have seen your "bungalows". Row houses at best. I give up, you are a rural person with a rural mindset. Show tall towers and "wide roads" and you think you have a "posh" city. Villagers will think like this only. Bombay is so far ahead this is outskirts stuff to us. We see townships like that on the way to Pune on the highway. You will never understand. Take a trip to Europe man. "Girls do not have a problem during their nightouts" - when they're inside a mall (which all shuts at 11pm) or a club, and then go from there to home in a taxi - you don't find ANY such women on the street. It looks like a village, that's why. Now keep comparing with Dharavi to make yourself feel better. Because you can never compare with Juhu. Feel free to say whatever you want, you are too backward to understand anything so I will not bother debating. Civilised people can see both places for themselves and decide. A city that has Heritage laws, golden streetlights, high per capita GDP, vs the IT hub of Haryana that was born yesterday. It's up to them.
