beautiful drive, I love this route (go to Las Vegas once a year)....I am near the Mississippi River; I go through Iowa and Nebraska and then turn north to Wyoming, stay overnight somewhere around Warren AFB usually. Next day loop down to Salt Lake City and this route. Great highways and amazing scenery.

I used to live in Sandy, Utah right off the 9000 exit ramp from the freeway. I made that drive from Sandy to Las Vegas back in Juky 2016, one of the nicest drives you can imagine when passing through the tight turning canyons as you enter Nevada. Utah is such a beautiful state!

It's mind blowing to me how long Interstate highways are without deviating much from standard Interstate quality. I love driving them in rural areas. I've driven this route twice both ways, what a great drive. Thank you for sharing. I love how you caught day and night. I like the wider median on Interstates than you see in many other countries. It's amazing a roadway was engineered for 80 mph trucks through such rough terrain @3:33:33 and @3:43:10 ... I love when the median widens up significantly. No headlights in your face, not watching for threats from the other side of the freeway. Also wide medians are most beautiful.

From Europe here, an amazing journey! I went through parts of this roadtrip back in 2023, traveling from Colorado to Las Vegas. The countryside was absolutely stunning, and it’s a memory I’ll never forget. especially the nerve-wracking moment around the 4:09:47 mark when an aggressive truck driver showed no regard for other cars or people and would have probably totaled our car if we hadn’t swerved into the right lane 🥲🤣
