In this fantasy world, the monsters occupy most of the globe while humans fight for their survival. Even though they are mages, most of them don't develop their magical powers to a level beyond intermediate (Which goes by basic>intermediate>advanced>super>forbidden) and most of the creatures are as strong as a tier 3 intermediate mage. Besides most elements are use for combat by either attacking or defending. Only a few have the ability to be used as an escape/mobility.

@@Davide-ge2efspoilers but, in episode 750 mo fan goes to challenge the statues (ancient figures of strength) and he fights them because his sister went with no fan to a temple and during the soul test it was mentioned xinxia his sister had 2 souls (a pure good soul and pure evil soul) and this is because of a weird phenomenon that happened to a previous person who was pure evil and more evil than the witch that mo fan killed through a test using a red philosopher’s stone and the priest said that because of this she needs to be killed to eliminate the evil soul out of her but mo fan obviously declines as a solution and the priest also said that because of the evil soul inside her she brings some kind of bad luck or bad omen to those around her that she deeply shows compassion towards. And the priest says that he might consider if he defeats the 10 statues to show his worth (his words vs. the priest’s words), and by then he gains more elements to 8 I think if I do recall, but he also has telekinesis and dimensional magic? Idk since I haven’t watch it for a while.

Yes, now to wait 1-2 years for season 7 which to be honest is gonna be epic but also leave us on constant cliff hangers. If they do it right they should use two seasons to cover the ancient city arc in full (it's gonna be soo epic and incredibly good). That arc was when this story really evolved from face slapping fun to something epic with Mo Fan's determination and the dark grittiness of this world being demonstrated in the conflicts between monsters and people

Because : 1)it is too taxing on him to use as it puts his body through alot(and consumes his magic alot so he might drop a tier or two at the least) 2)this element is kept secret for his safety (he will be hunted down if it's known) 3)ehen he advances alot(like having 6 elements besides the demon element)he will be somewhat abel to handle the strain of it
