Singapore Airlines is my fave. They are consistently great in their service, food and the tech crew are equally awesome.

Great video. Those seats were designed by someone who obviously didn't actually have to sit or lie in them! Their regional business class seats are SO much better. Hope they reinstate regional A350s for SQ241/242 soon.

You're spot on! I noticed the same thing with ANA the other day where regional was so much. Water than long haul 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@navsky Yeah. Surely this isn't your first time in this seat version? I think the Medium-haul J seat on select 350s, all 787s and 380s are touch screen.

On the 350, the need to get up and flip the seat's back to make it into a flat bed is a hassle. I prefer the pod biz seats on the 380. Cabin service was shocking. On a flt last year (biz seat) I was RUDELY awaken for meal service! Never ever happen to me before on other airlines biz seat flights I flew on before. They have waited for me to awaken before serving me the meal.

Yeah valid points re the flip seat. It was pretty solid though so I didn't mind it. Reckon they should have at least checked with you to see when you'd like your meal to be service. Odd they'd just wake you like that. I'd be annoywd about that 😑

Was is not uncomfortable to sleep as the foot rest was on the left side of the seat? I mean you had to sleep in an angle line.

Very good observation. Although it was comfortable, the foot well was very small. It's not entirely sleeping on an angle but yes my legs are tucked towards the left.

@@navsky I was planning to try their a350 business class from Singapore to JFK. I doubt if I will opt for it. Because being in that tilt position for 15+ hrs will make me handicapped. I am better off opting for other airlines.

I love SQ but I won't fly any airline that doesn't have window seats in Business Class. That A350 seat/bed is next to the aisle making it an aisle seat and not private at all. Similarly, I won't fly on a Boeing 787, firstly because it's a Boeing and second I need control of the window shading. The catering never fails.

Very valid points! Absolutely agree with the privacy of those seats but I don't mind those window shades 🧏🏻‍♂️🧏🏻‍♂️
