4K - Evening Rush Hour GO and VIA Rail Trains at Toronto Union Station's Western Approach

Great Video :) Toronto has the busiest rail hub in all of North America. One 12 car GO train can carry up to 2400 people, about 200 per coach - times that by the number of trains they run each day, then add the VIA trains, the Amtrak train from NYC and the UPX from the Airport.

Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East are not the only all-day lines in Toronto. The UP Express runs all day every day, as does the Barrie Line. The Kitchener and Stouffville lines also have all-day service on weekdays. But yes, clearly New York Penn and Grand Central stations are much busier than Union Station. Union Station is the busiest transportation facility in Canada (busier than Pearson Airport!), but not North America.

the UPX is not a GO train. the entire Barrie line does not run all day all way. only between Union and Aurora.

ya but it runs to union. so does the ki line so they have all day service to union.

@@flufmuffinz5734 Kitchener has hourly Midday service both ways up to Mount Pleasant, but no evening service. Barrie has all day hourly service up to Aurora. And weekend trains with 3 trains from Barrie and the rest between Aurora. Stouffville has midday service to Unionville, and Starting April 6th up to Mount Joy. Used to have Evening Service but it got cancelled due to construction.
