This was just a random trip that I happened to take doing a free weekend I had. I was blown away one from the wildfire that I flew over just getting here, but also at this theme park!!!! This place has 2 of the best wooden rollercoasters I've ever been on! I love the "and continuing on" after watching Spincycle (purple/white ride). That ride is literally the single most intense ride in the whole park, and totally worth it.

​@@MrBucketlist Silverwood is awesome, and yes I agree that ride is intimidating. Rode it once and very much about 1/3 of the way went "I regret my decision."

It’s not intense. It plays with your fear a different way, hanging you there for excessive amounts of time. The ride is less intense than stunt pilot and aftershock.

A few facts here about Silverwood. Just like at universal studios and knotts berry farm, Silverwood has its own Halloween horror night and runs every weekend in October. And timber terror runs backwards with the carts facing the opposite direction than normal. Garfield was the official mascot of silverwood from 2001 to 2021, and the kids area was originally named after him (I believe it was Garfields summer camp) and a small gift shop with merch was there in the park as well. And as of this year (2024) they have the longest dueling water coaster in the whole United States named eagle hunt! which is 925 feet in length. Hope you like the information :)

Looks like a lot new stuff there haven't been there since 2010 labor day weekend. This is the only way I want to see coasters in pov. Thanks for giving me this great opportunity to see this. My fam and I had great fun at hurricane harbor water park too

You're welcome. I'm not a fan of water rides unless I'm here in Florida. I hate walking around with wet shoes. I loved Silverwood though. What a park!

19:42 I don't think people really understand the impact Silverwood had on RMC. The founder used to work at Silverwood and he was a major part of the construction of both Tremors and Timber Terror. And then he went to start his own company, literally 15 minutes away. I went on a field trip in 5th grade to them lol Edit: not contradicting what you said, (especially since they're actually CCIs), just making a statement

Yea it's a really good park. Aftershock had a pretty decent line, but I really enjoyed it.

I worked Disney Attractions for 9 years. I do enjoy these types of videos. Never heard of this place. Looks like everyone was enjoying themselves. They could have planted bright color flowers though 😂

Oh ok, cool! I interned at Magic Kingdom for a year. This video was unusually dim because of the smokef from the wildfire. Im sure it looks better lol

Normally they do have bright flowers. In the summer they are beautiful and are known for their flower arrangements. They even have a whole warehouse in the park hidden behind the buildings that is a garden for their flowers. This looks like it was filmed in the winter so it is cold and gloomy. Normally super sunny and has fun vibes! Try finding another video so you can see a comparison.

At this same time there was another fire even closer than the medical lake fire. Such a sad scary time! Come back to silverwood in OCT for scarywood!

Did you use a hand held GoPro mount? Or how did you film this? I thought you had to use a chest mounted camera on the rides, but perhaps they made an exception for you. I used a GoPro with a chest harness the last time I went to Silverwood and got some really good footage. Thanks for this video!! I appreciate you going on all the roller coaster alley rides.

I always use a wrist mounted gopro. It's just a lot more flexible. They let me record without any issues. It was nice. That's great to hear! It's a good park. You're welcome. Thank you!!!
