I find the history of Hiraizumi intriguing. Fortunately I was able to visit Hiraizumi this winter. It's a great place to walk and explore Japanese history. Our hotel was near Mount Kinkei (金鶏山) so of course we had to climb it.

Brilliant weather - marvel in November 🌤, brilliant colors - the sky, the unbelievable shades of red of the maples🍁🍁, the pond, the beautiful temple, and such a cozy town! Absolutely breathtaking, the scenic landcape seen from above 💙👍! Oh, and there are nyanko, three I guess - cute all, but the red one meow meow is just a sweetheart 🐾😽🐾🧡 !!

According to temple records, Ennin (Jikaku Daishi, third head abbot of the Tendai sect), founded Chūson-ji in 850. Two and a half centuries later, Fujiwara, no Kiyohira relocated to Hiraizumi from Esashi (present-day Ōshū City) and built a temple complex here. Just for information

How did you end up in Japan? Your videos are great by the way. Always very consistent. There is another walking video KZbin I like called Real Japan. Have you ever thought of doing collaboration videos with other walking video KZbinrs in Japan? Like a two part video where when yours ends you tap the next person and their video begins?
