Amazing that Woodstock, Vermont with its beauty has only about 3,000 people, and is slightly declining in population. The sugar maple, acer saccharum, is the state tree, with its glorious autumn colors. Also the state tree in Wisconsin, West Virginia ("Almost Heaven"), and New York ("Autumn in New York"). Honored as the state tree in more states than any other species.

So many pumpkins ! Do they get eaten ? They make a nice effect, showing a welcoming, cheerful atmosphere. What are the trees that are a strong red colour ?
