This is flight 26 of 33 from my recent trip where I flew around the world. At the end of September through the beginning of October, I set out to fly around the Earth, and after 16 days, 13 airlines, 33 flights, and over 38,000 miles, I landed back in Kansas City, Missouri after visiting 13 different countries. Over the next 3 weeks I'll be posting these flights in order, so you too can take this incredible journey, exactly as I did! The flights will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday until all 33 flights are live! So, check back three times every week to take this incredible journey with me! I have a special nerd relation with Finnair altough i never flew with them. I know it sounds nuts but it's true. Finnair was the first airline in Europe to operate the A 350. So they came to our old airport Berlin Tegel for another training flight from Helsinki. It was their first one OH-LWA. In Tegel we had a nice visitors terrace from where we could watch all arriving planes to their gates. So OH-LWA came and we all had the chance to see the all new aircraft. Just a short look into the cabin before the new passengers had arrived. That was absolutely great. Then in 1999 i was climbing out of our Bangkok Airways ATR 72 via a jetbridge when a MD 11 from Finnair was rolling 30 metres in front of me on the taxiway at Don Muang airport in Bkk. I smelled the Jetfuel A from it's engines and in the back section of the fuselage there was a big nice sticker : Finnair. Official airline of Santa Claus. Yeah. These moments could be something normal for others. For me it was very special. One day i will fly with them. Maybe to Bangkok...

And there he goes on the next leg of his Amazing Race around the world!! Sprechen Sie Finnish, Skylite? Great views of London! Made me think of The World Is Not Enough when 007 is chasing the Cigar Girl along the River Thames. That's the movie where Bond is in way over his head, is unsure of himself or what to do next. Sophie Marceau was unique in that she was both the chief Bond Woman AND the mastermind Bond villain. I visited the UK in the fall of 1998, spent the first week in London, rented a flat for the week. This was the first week that the Heathrow Express train began running. Well, let me tell you, I was very impressed. Before I knew it, I was at Paddington Station! That thing went 100mph. And I took it back to Heathrow at the end of my trip. Note: this trip was before all of the Harry Potter movies came out, so when I was at King Cross Station, there was no Track 9 and 3/4! Anyhow, time for me to rest up from the jet lag and watch today's General Hospital. Jeez, how many more people are they going to kill off!

Beautiful flight! Call me stupid, but what happened to the windows as you were taxiing into Heathrow? I’ve never seen that happen before! It didn’t look like rain, but I wasn’t there. 😁

They simply fogged over with condensation. This happens sometimes when it’s really humid outside and there’s a big temperature difference outside vs. inside the cabin. Although this is the first and only time I’ve ever seen it happen on an A350. For whatever reason it seems to happen way more frequently on 787’s 🤷🏻♂️. That could just be coincidence though. The whole thing is similar to your car windows fogging up in the winter when you get in the windows fog up.

Great video! Not gonna lie I don't like the Iphone 16's sound quality, I think compared to the 11 it's a bit of a downgrade but that might be me

Well, I don’t know what it is your hearing. But as someone who just edited a ton of footage split between the iPhone 14 Pro, 15 Pro, and 16 Pro (I used them all on this trip.) The 16 pro definitely has the best audio of any of those. in fact, I was just editing a video today where I had to replace the audio on a certain section because of copyright music that was being played, and the only clip I had that fit that was from the 14 Pro. And I couldn’t use it, because you could clearly tell the difference, and the 16 was way better. I had to go to an external drive and find a clip from a 16 Pro. That’s been my experience at least.

@sla31 very interesting, I just upgraded from the 11 to the 16. I think I got so used to hearing loud thrust noises on the 11 the hearing it soften on the 16 was kind of weird for me. Might take some getting used to to fully appreciate the 16 for sure! But the video quality especially at night time is just world class for sure! Definitely gonna be useful for a lot of Asia trips where most of my flights land at night!

Definitely.. The night and low light video quality is excellent on the 16 Pro. Huge improvement.
