@@_planesandtrains_some have good connections only in theory but require a long walk to get to the train. Like Seattle, or Phoenix.

@@TransitAndTeslas Phoenix recently installed a PeopleMover to get to their airport stop, so it’s improved a bit.

These S70 vehicles are nice. Used also for the Minneapolis Metro and MetroRail in Houston.

That looks like a great plan. Based on the alignment I would more see the blue line connecting to the Rio Grande Depot than the green line, as it already connects to the current Amtrak station.

@@_planesandtrains_ With the changes proposed from Tech Link they want to realign the Greenline and Blue lines where the blue and orange lines will now go to the airport. If you like the plan make sure you reach out to your elected officials to tell them you want it.

It is a mass transit train like BART but as I have never ridden BART I cannot give any other info.

unfortunately no, bart is fully grade separated while trax runs in the street downtown, which makes it pretty slow sometimes

@@jacobwhitecotton well, I have seen a couple times where bart stops for longer than it should at MacArthur station. One day I was out with one of my teachers, and it was stopped out there for like five minutes. Yesterday I went to the airport to go home, and it was there for only two minutes.

@gianni1940 the difference is that for trax, the reason for delays is very usually traffic, while bart doesnt have to worry about that, subways and light rail are very different
