Oh to be young again! I enjoyed this video to the max. More power all of you gliders with your gliders for finding a green method to have a blast. I’m 84 but I can still dream.

Back in 1993, I bought a second hand Lancer 200, and taught myself to fly at Ed Levin Park.

Cool, Even though I am not hang glider and I was just casually watching this; I spotted myself in two different shots at 3:15 and 8:36. What a good quality video! Thanks.

Gupta, I am glad you like the video. I am filming all soaring activities in the air when I am hanging around in the park including hanggliding, paragliding, birding. The more videos I can film and process, the more filming skills I will grow. My goal is to bring the best soaring footages to our own pilots as well as general public in order to promote our soaring sports.

@Lijian Liu How do you track moving gliders so good? Is it just moving camera by hand or do you have some special equipment for this? Is software stabilization involved too?
@Hangglide5 жыл бұрын
Shobhit Gupta good question! I used Sony 70-200mm lens with Sony A6400 body. The lens has stabilization feature. I also used a cheap $180 video tripod to prevent hand shaking. Then I had lots of clips stabilized by iMovie to make them even more smooth. iMovie stabilization process took 5 hours!!!!!!
