@@grrumakemeangry I know you're just joking around- but just replace the word "Every" with the word "No" and then that sentence will be correct...(I've been to Paris in snow, Rome in cold rain and actually lived in Munich for 6 months during winter when it was definitely freezing AND snowing and charming is definitely not the word I'd use for any of those cities...especially when compared to Kyoto...)

It´s not just the snow, even when it´s raining or a hot sunny day Japan just feels diferent. Calmly, peaceful, traditional, polite, lonely, a place to find yourself, maybe a japanese doesnt feel that way but the mayority of the rest world does.

@@堀内錦治 No- it is not too much of a compliment!!. I've visited your beautiful country and that was exactly my experience. Not only was the scenery just...beautiful and peaceful but every...single...person...we...met... EVERYONE was the same- helpful...polite and lovely. I am an African American and I went there with my wife and 8-year-old daughter. From the moment we got off the plane, (we went to Kyoto) till the moment we flew out, every person, every interaction, everywhere we went... was as stated above. Lovely...peaceful...polite.. and beautiful and treated us with respect. I've visited several European countries, Central America, and even West Africa. We all agree that our trip to *Japan* was the best and most enjoyable by far. Can't wait to go back!!!

@@堀内錦治 I'm sure every place has it's downfall, but living in a walkable city is truly only a dream for Americans, where people have been known to purposefully mow down pedestrians and cyclists. I didn't live in a town with sidewalks until I was 17, and it didn't snow there.

Japan is such an absolutely beautiful country. My dream is to travel to Akita prefecture and visit the old samurai houses. I raised Akitas for almost 25 years and now have a Shiba Inu and an Akita Inu!

Спасибо за чудесный фильм. Несколько лет назад я посетила этот храмовый комплекс, летом. Зимой во время снегопада всё выглядит, словно в кружевном наряде. Удивительная культура, где поклоняются природе и берегут её. С грустью смотрю фильмы, узнаю некоторые места, где удалось побывать. Очень хочется вновь посетить эту удивительную страну.

I have my own personal feels when I watch this and no idea how to put them into words. The japanese culture is totally different than in here for sure, even though everything is mixed nowadays, the technology boomed incredibly there. Yet they still managed to not only keep the tradition, but make it look super interresting. It's just amazing. I think you have to love and appriciate who you are and where you are a lot to be like this.
