As a kid I went in this rollercoaster not knowing what it was. When it took off it scared the sh*t out of me. When I came back home I told all my friends I had been on a rollercoaster with loopings.. I felt so cool!

I've waited 25 years to go on this ride. I remember watching the original Space Mountain ad on my Disney VHS tapes and feeling like I was witnessing the greatest thing in the world. I finally rode it yesterday and it awesome. The animations could be a bit better, but it was really fun. I almost cried when I got out because it felt like I finally accomplished my childhood dream hahah

When I was first on this ride in 1995 it was in my opinion the best rollercoaster I've ever been on. But 2012 it was terrible. First the Mission 2 theme and soundtrack was bad compared to the original and also the ride wasn't smooth anymore - it turned into a headache rollercoaster. I hope they have new trains and that's not a topic anymore.

My brother and I got to ride front row in 96. The guy working stopped us and said "do you want to ride at the front?" We both looked stunned and shouted "yes!" Amazing!! One of the best rollercoaster experiences ever!

The whole interieur still looks like Jules Verne, the carts, the Nautilus is still there etc. Everything is the same just a few shitty Tie Fighters and X wings thrown in there. What a shame. They should build a new Star Wars atraction and transfer this back the OG Space Mountain.

Been on this one again yesterday after a couple of years and it stopped right below the graphic of the Imperial Star Destroyer for at least a minute….now thát got me scared, being so uncomfortably tightly strapped in (really!), in the dark, on a roller coaster track without any possibilty to move, get out or even reach for my phone. It took quite some effort to stay calm. But what a ride, loopings, corkscrews, all in the dark. Excellent!

I went on this ride a few years ago with some friends. We got stuck halfway through in the complete darkness. Scary experience as we heard the other cart coming. Ever since I had anxiety going on rollercoasters which I never had before. Last weekend I went to DLP with my boyfriend. It was the first time for him and he really wanted to experience this ride. So I had to put myself together and joined him. I had so much anxiety in the queue, but told myself to stop bitching, cause kids were also going on this ride. Actually, we enjoyed this ride so much and went a few times more😂. It’s definitely a heavy rollercoaster, but it’s a must if you’re visiting DLP (if you’re in good health)

When I was a kid I went to Disneyland Paris. I'd never ridden a rollercoaster before in my life, and when I got on this ride (it was just called space mountain at the time) it was terrifying. I just remember being jostled around aggressively, a vague sense of moving terrifyingly fast, and seeing various lights and shapes wizzing past. It absolutely terrified me and I was reluctant to do anything else at Disneyland because I was now convinced that everything was going to be unexpectedly terrifying. As an adult I have an anxiety disorder and I'm not entirely convinced that it didn't all start with going to Disneyland, thinking it was going to be a pleasant magical place, and instead finding it to be unexpectedly terrifying. Anyway, I wanted to check out this video to see how terrifying it looked now from the perspective of an adult, and honestly it still looks pretty damn scary. That immediate disembodied screaming from other riders as the ride suddenly accelarates... no thanks

this is the most scariest and adrenaline pumping ride in disney paris. i went on it twice in a row and its not as scary as it looks now. the old version is way scarier. the new one aka the one in the video is very fast and scary at times but people scream because its a reflex. i also have anxiety and at the shoot up i told my friend “why did we go on the ride i dont want to, i wanna go back” and i was extremely terfified of loops, didnt know this had them but it was so fun. other rides at disney are way calmer dont worry about it.

TBF. I was like you. On the outside it looked quite scary especially since I was afraid of riding rollercoasters. But I decided to face my fears and went on it. And when it got to the hyperspace bit it was turned into my favourite rollercoaster of Disneyland. It gave me an adrenaline rush of excitement that I had never felt whilst riding a rollercoaster. After that It made me not only want to try more rollercoasters but it also made me want to go on it again and again.

People always scream in coasters. Usually not in the terrified way but in the 'I'm enjoying the adrenaline' way. My friend and I got to enjoy this ride three times when we visited Disneyland and we still screamed and whooped each time . But yeah, it is an intense ride and it would do you (and your parents) well to heed the warning signs and videos saying; Warning! This is a high speed coaster with sudden sharp turns, intense drops and 360 degrees loops. They're kinda there for a reason.

To those who are going to Disneyland and haven’t been on this ride, do yourself a solid and make sure to keep your head up during this ride like I didn’t to save your head becoming the ball in ping pong between the the left hand and right hand side harness/brace which goes over you. Came off and everything was spinning. Totally epic though. Went on it again the next day and kept my head up and was fine then. Just a little friendly advice and enjoy the ride. 😃

I agree with N D It sounded great but you can't see anything. I personally prefer Mission 1 at least the music was created for the ride and was tailored to the adventure. Plus respecting the Jules Verne original story "From the Earth to the moon" was epic. I remember the queue line having transparent windows so you could see the train shooting around and when the train "Hit" the asteroid and sparks scattered all over the glass it felt like the story was unfolding as written. Shame there are too many Star Wars references in Disneyland Paris attractions now

I remember going on this ride when I was 7 and the when the launch sequence happened I was terrified the rest of the ride my eyes were glued shut and I was trying to cover my ears and hold onto the seat cuz the sounds were too loud and I thought the twists and loops would make me fall out. My sister and dad wanted to go a second time and I genuinely thought they were crazy for wanting to go a second time so a kind French lady stayed with me while they went on.

I went on this ride a week ago(my first time ever in disneyland) and tbh, it was absolutely terrifying. Maybe if I didn’t have anxiety disorder I would enjoy it more, but the speed with that heavy safety thing on my chest made it so much harder to breath..it felt like dying more than thrilling with that shitty panic attack it made all of my body numb..if you don’t suffer that kind of health problems I suggest you to try these thrilling games!

As much as I am a coaster guy, when I went on this, my head rest was hitting my head constantly during the ride. My head was sore for about half an hour after the ride. It was intense but if that wasn’t happening I would’ve loved it.

It’s definitely a lot different than Space Mountain in America. I got a Rock N’ Roller Coaster with the Incredicoaster combined vibe from it.

@@RealDaBradyIndeed, only 5 minutes. It was intense and brutal, wasn't it ? I don't hit my head whenever I do Space Mountain just a little bit. The ride is only appropriate for preteens, teens and adults I have pretty strong neck

I just went on this ride recently, thinking it was like the Space Mountains in America, basically a large indoor mouse trap coaster. WRONG!!! As if the shoulder bars were not a hint, this is a full on coaster with inversions and corkscrews. It is also completely dark aside from the lighting effects. Note: this is my very first high intensity coaster ride and being in the dark helped me enjoy it.

Heeelp, how does this compare to Florida’s space mountain? Is this way worse?!😭 I can only just manage to enjoy myself on that one so now i’m worried I won’t dare go on this 🤣🤣
