Iloilo is such a lovely city! I enjoyed my time when I visited there in 2007 and I can't wait to be back when this whole lockdown is lifted! Some of the most interesting information about the city that drew me to it and I find fascinating. - Iloilo: First city in Asia where 3 properties were sold for cryptocurrencies - The only province to have two cities during the Spanish time: Iloilo City, chartered in 1890, and Jaro in 1891 - The first provincial high school in the Philippines…Iloilo National High School

it's true, Jaro is also a city during the Spanish period but lots of wealthy families escaped during the war and became hacienderos in Negros.
