4K Japan Walk - Toyoura Shopping Street in Hokkaido - Nov 2024

This time, I walked around the shopping street in Toyoura Town, Hokkaido, Japan.
Toyoura Town is located southwest of Lake Toya, facing Funka Bay, with a population of about 3,500.
Many Hokkaido residents may think of strawberries when they hear Toyoura Town, but it is also the number one pork producer in Hokkaido.
There is a roadside station called Toyoura on National Route 37, where you can purchase strawberries, scallops, and pork.
It is also the hometown of former boxing champion Daisuke Naito.
Filming started in front of JR Toyoura Station.
Heading towards the sea from the front of the station will take you to Honmachi Street, where the shopping district is located.
The buildings are relatively new, and have a unified guardhouse-style design.
There were few cars and people, but there is a seaside park campsite and hot springs nearby, so it is probably bustling during the summer vacation season.

イチゴと漁業は知って居ましてが豚肉生産北海道1位とは驚きました。伊達の黄金豚みたくブランドになればもっと売れるかな？此処から虻田郡沖で取れる宗八(干物ですが)実に美味かった‼️あの匂いが堪らんです、成吉思汗に於けるマトンみたいな物でラムは美味しですが物足りません、昔の人ですから(笑)伊達〜豊浦次は何処か楽しみにして居ます。
