4K Javea Spain - Walking Tour 2022 [Arenal Beach, Javea Port and Old Town]

Javea, also known as Xabia (Valencian) is one of the most popular coastal town of northern Costa Blanca, Spain. Javea is located on the most easterly point of Spain, about 100 kilometers from Valencia and 90 kilometers from Alicante. The population of Javea is about 33000. Javea is divided into three areas, the old town (2 kilometers from the sea), Javea port and the Arenal Beach( the main beach of Javea). Arenal Beach or Playa de Arenal is located in the center of the bay of Javea/Xàbia. It is the main beach and the busiest tourist center of Jávea and it offers a wide range of shopping, bars and restaurants. The beach is about 500 meters long and have been awarded with the Blue Flag Award for cleanliness.
Javea is an attractive destination with a lot to offer, for both young and old. Javea beaches provide plenty of water sports opportunities for swimming, jet skiing, diving, paragliding, etc. Javea has mild winters, temperature rarely fall lower than 12 Celsius. Summers temperatures reach 30 Celsius. June and September see perfect temperatures in Javea at an average of 26 Celsius.

Javéa should have featured on your top 5 costal towns rather than Moraira. It’s a great place for all ages. We’ve been going for nearly 20 years and it’s my favourite place to visit.

Are people there friendly and welcoming of foreigners? I do speak some Spanish, but not fluently. Are there good hospitals and other facilities nearby or do you have to travel to Alicante?

We love javea. Been going for the last 9 years the last 2 we’ve gone twice a year to the same villa Villa trencall see everyone again first week of July so 2 months Great video as usual

It's amazing to think I lived in denia just over the mountin and alway went out in jeava for nights out... there was a club called the chill and bar called Daisy's bar next to Scallops restaurant with all me mates so long time ago... Nice to see it still looks the same
