Won't be long before they do I think, as unfortunate as it is. So much of the ride is blatantly 90s era still like intro/safety screens, and the theming/animatronics. It's out of place if you ride velicoaster first, but then most of the old school Jurassic park area feels the same. Fantastic ride and it's a shame. Feels like a 90s time capsule and I love it.

The drop is really intense and fun (it reminds me of one of my favorite Cedar Point water rides) but...my favorite part of this ride is actually at the beginning where they play the intro to "Theme from Jurassic Park" and then time the crescendo perfectly to the gates. Ngl, I teared up. Anyway, we had a great time - my kids got a kick out of the animatronics (I didn't notice anything off about them) and loved getting soaked.

I went on this ride with my cousins and best friend, and nobody told me there was going to be a huge drop, I was too busy dodging all the dinosaurs that I didn’t even realize there was a HUGE drop I just screamed and hoped it would end, it felt amazing. u feel so calm then u feel fear then after it’s over u started laughing wanting to go back on it (around night time cuz that’s when the lines are empty) and when u go on it a second time u feel so much fear and excitement bc u already know what’s gonna happen. then u fall and want to go back on it, me and my cousin and best friend went on it so many times, we even challenged ourselves to look up instead of down, we even held hands and sat in the front, it’s such a adrenaline rush, i personally hate drops and although the drop is horrifying it’s also really fun, highly recommend this ride

I’ve never been on splash mountain but I’m not a huge roller coaster person. Overall it wasn’t too bad. I think mostly because you can’t truly tell how high you are since you’re still enclosed most of the way down. If it was all open up top that would be SCARY!

guys 😭 i was on the ride today and it definitely was not working and I was so confused whether it was apart of the ride or not. None of the hadrosaurs came out of the water and so when that was supposed to happen in the ride, all the audio stopped working. So it was silent as we approached the Jpac all the way to the end. And then when we got to the Trex part there was another boat in font of us and we bumped into them and just stopped and sat there as the Trex went though 3 rounds of rawring and turning off. Then finally we dropped at the end but the trex was off 😂 i was like, what happened?!?

Even tho I love this ride, it is in terrible condition, there are two options Universal could do 1. Renovate the ride, like fix the Animictronics and effects so they feel more realistic like on opening day 2. Redo the ride to Jurassic World, the ride is already a success in Hollywood. So if universal studios wanted to save this ride, they could do these two options
