I’m back a few weeks. A ghost island.Don’t mind all the hype and bull. Investments from the Farang in businesses and Thai ‘business’ have ensured that not only have businesses and hotels closed,some are demolished and have been razed to the ground. YET you’ll still hear the PATHETIC Muay Thay Jeep blaring about Muay Thay that nobody cares about except the local gamblers 😂 ‘TONIGHT TONIGHT AND EVERY NIGHT AT PETCH BUNCHA STADIUM BLAH BLAH BLAH’ makes things even worse when the place is D E A D

Thank you so much for this walk. I was thinking of coming from Holland to ks this winter. But it’s so quiet 😢 still…. So many shops closed. Is it better at night?
@thescreamss2 жыл бұрын
No,it’s dead and dilapidated. Only some shops like a few 7/11’ are open. The hotels,some massage shops need more maintenance on them,Thais have been lazy and it’s reflected in Chaweng. Farang money isn’t being invested currently as it was before and the women have grown sparse and almost 3 years older.

@@thescreamss Thanks for the update!Maybe it will get better after oct 1 when all the Thai Corona restrictions lift? Its so sad for the people. I also watch updates on Phuket and Bali/seminyak/Ubud and seems much more livelier there… I hope koh samui will recover soon!!

It's slowly getting better. What time was this filmed ? I was told Onion Restaurant was open but it still looks closed. (Near Central Festival)

Interesting,l don’t see the big recovery that is lauded and applauded in Thai and Farang blurb online. It’s exactly how l saw it a few months ago. 2 years from now it will start 2020 low first quarter figures again.
