Sobrang ganda talaga😭😭...I wanted to see more of this kind of architecture throughout the Philippines

I wish Philippines designate a province to make a province with all old architectural houses
@TeaDrinker-eq3md3 жыл бұрын
Yep, sana nga. Or kahit iincorporate yung mga notable Filipino architecture sa mga varying structures ngayon.

Its hard due to continuous wars. Ang bloody ng history natin eh muntikan nga lang mabomba yung Vigan dahil sa rebelde dati napakiusapan lang ng pari sa panahon ng Ph-American War (Filipino Genocide).

Thanks for showing this! I only saw part of this town on Filipino tv and was amazed how creative and historical it is! It’s cool seeing from a guest’s perspective and it’s really beautiful! I wished Manila still had this charm.

I remember my grandparent's house in the province the roof is made of anahao leaves but the house itself is big, it has 3 dining areas with 8 to 12 seaters. The wood/pillar of the house is made of Nara. It has a billiard hall, 4 bedrooms and a big living room. It has sewing area. we had 4 sewing machines. The dirty kitchen is full of firewood and bananas coming from the the farm. It was built in 1950 just after the Japanese invasion. During fiesta we had a lot of visitors. :) The house was visited of Chinese Macao people who were fishermen and traders in 1960-1970. They played mahjong and billiard during leisure. My grandparents sell copra as main source of income. The copra price back in the day is really better compared today. I really missed the old days. Thank you for taking this video. :)

tweet: What lovely quaint island in Bataan, Philippines. Good spot to peruse around when visiting Manila - the capital. Siguraduhin lamang na laging malines ang kapaligiran araw-araw para hendi tayo mapahiya sa ating mga guests from abroad. Keep up the good work. Be blessed. feb2021.

I am so impressed by this! Ang galing, eto yung nakaka hanga at nakaka excite puntahan. Kahit na ginaya lang siya from the glorious past of Manila, pero hindi siya katulad ng mga imitated popular world landmarks sa Macau na puntahan ng mga travellers na social climbers, yung masabing mga nakapag travel kahit mga fake ang pinuntahan.
@nadonado6483 жыл бұрын
atleast refurbished houses diba unlike sa Macau na puro replica
@honusblanco12593 жыл бұрын
Horse-drawn calesas would have been better than jeepneys to project a more authentic ambiance. I was there two years ago. While the houses and buildings were impressive, I didn’t get to enjoy my visit because of the excessive heat and high humidity. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any breeze blowing in from the sea at that time. I was miserable the entire time. The inefficient air conditioning system in the restaurant didn’t help at all. I should give it another try. Hopefully, it’ll be better. Maybe I should go in December or January or during the rainy season.

Those are real old houses from different parts of the country. They bought it, disassemble it part by part and then assemled again in Las Casas.
@sasorishino3 жыл бұрын
I guess it is artificial because the owner wanted it of a mix of old and modern style to give it a resort-vibe. Honestly, without those artificial/modern accents like lightings etc. this would look too scary/archaic for a resort.
