Kaziuko muge (St. Casimir's Fair) takes place on 3-5 March. Visitors can purchase diverse items made by Lithuanian and foreign craftpeople and taste tradiitonal food cherished as culinary heritage.
Kaziuko mugė (Saint Casimir's Fair) is a large annual folk arts and crafts fair in Vilnius, Lithuania, dating to the beginning of the 17th century. The fair is traditionally held in city's markets and streets on the Sunday nearest to 4 March (Feast of St. Casimir), the anniversary of Saint Casimir's death. In Lithuanian, Kaziukas is a diminutive of Casimir.
Kovo 4-ąją minime Šv. Kazimiero - Lietuvos globėjo - dieną. Pagal tradiciją Šv. Kazimiero minėjimo dienai artimiausiomis išeiginėmis Vilniuje vyksta Kaziuko mugė. Tai seniausia Vilniaus šventė, turinti jau 419 metų tradiciją. Svarbiausias mugės atributas - verba, gaminama iš išdžiovintų margų gėlių ir žolių.
