I could 100% be wrong because I'm not well educated in this topic but it could be because of how humans have lived in nature for their entire evolutionary lifespan and because of modern development we don't get that as much as our like very very distant ancestors and because of that when we do get to be in nature we connect with our core aspects of being a human and feel that calmness

As a Washington native growing up in Sunnyside now living in California, Mt. Rainier was what I would see walking to school. Every year our family would vacation in Mount Rainier National Park. This is so healing with the chaos of COVID19 outside the door.

This brings back beautiful memories. When living in Washington I grew up in the Yakima Valley in Sunnyside and saw Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range every morning on my way to school. Our family would stay at Ohanapecosh and spend time walking the trails and taking in the sites. It was healing. We even went to Paradise and Sunrise visitor centers and took the trails up Boroughs Mt. which eventually takes you to the base camp of Mt. Rainier.

But i love getting BAKED AF watching this, god.. i wish.. i could hear the silence that is so silent you hear your thoughts, the true safety and inner peace you feel from being in such enviorments.
