It's a great thing that there are car-free days in certain areas of the city every now and then, where people can enjoy their city and the kids can play carefree in the street. As much as I like and admire your travel videos from other countries, I'm always happy when I can accompany you through my favorite city NYC. I would love to experience NYC in the summer, but since I make my living from tourism and live on a vacation island, I can only travel in the winter. Athens was actually planned for this winter, but after watching your video of Athens, I didn't find the city that exciting for vacation anymore. So the travel plan was changed and now 9 days in NYC are booked for December. Finally, after 5 years, I can stroll through the streets of New York again and see all the new things you showed me in your videos. Nine days of enjoying good food, going to the theater, shopping and just doing whatever I feel like at the moment. I actually hate flying and the whole process of traveling, but the anticipation of being back in NYC makes it easier for me. Your videos are more than a gift to me and I can't thank you enough.🙏🏼🥰

저는 오랜 만에 맨해튼을 걸어보는데^^ 와 새삼 뭐든지 커요 건물도 크고 교회도 크고 사람도 많고, 전 인종과 세계 문화의 용광로, 다시 실감 나네요. 맨해튼은 써머스트릿이 토요일 3주 연속으로 있군요! 좋겠어요 진짜! 평소에 차들로 붐비고 크락션 소리, 열기... 하나도 없이 맘껏 걷고 뛰고 놀 수 있다니 시민 전체에게 일종의 휴가나 여름 선물같은 걸 제공한 거네요! 지금 더위가 한창인데 그날 맨해튼은 그렇게 덥지는 않았나보네요? 27도. 좋은 날씨에 남녀노소, 강아지까지 다 뛰쳐 나온 것 같았어요ㅋㅋ 게다가 맨발, 자전거, 휠체어까지 모두 이 도시를 즐기는 모습이었습니다. 앨리스님도 다음 주에는 반잔님이랑 뚸야죠! 반바지 입고! ㅋㅋㅋ 카메라는 놓고 간만에 6번가 5번가 걷고, 록펠러 센터에 시원한 분수 물줄기가 더위를 식혀주는 것 같았구요 또 대형 화면에 파리 올림픽 방송을 지켜보는 사람들의 분위기도 잘 보았고, 많이 걸으셨네요! 오늘 거리를 걷는 사람들 중에 카메라 들고 찍는 사람들이 많이 보이던데 아마.. 여름을 맞아 방문한 사람들이겠죠?^^ 앨리스님은 여름 휴가 따로 가실 계획 있으실까요?ㅎㅎ 저~번에 마이애미 생각 나네요! 베르사체 맨션, 페루식당! @@ㅎㅎㅎ 오늘도 뉴욕 거리 즐거웠어요 쌩유 앨리스님!! ❤💙🌳👩‍🦯🏃🏃‍♂🧑‍🦽🏃‍♀🌲💙❤

그쵸그쵸! 맨해튼은 뭐든지 크고 사람 많고 근데 또 다들 너무 바빠 나름의 익명성이 존재하는... 독특한 도시 ! 네! 여름 선물 ㅎㅎ 찰떡 표현👍❤️그 넓은 Park Ave를, 특히 평소에는 걸어서 못 가는 고가 도로를 걸을 수 있어서 너무 좋았어요! 이날 오후에는 30도까지 올라갔는데 습도가 높지 않아 그늘로만 다니니 걷기 딱 좋은 날씨였어요! 담주는 뛰어 볼까요? ㅋㅋㅋ 카메라 없이^^ 저번주까진 꽤 더웠는데 요즘은 아침 저녁으로 약간 춥기까지 하네요.. 한국은 정말 폭염으로 최악의 더위라고 하던데 걱정이네요..😔건강 관리 잘 하시길 바래요🙏 네 지금은 휴가철이라 관광객이 유난히 많아요. 특히 5번가는! 저는 휴가를 미리 써서 ㅎㅎ 멀리는 못가고...가까운 나이아가라나 다녀올까 생각 중입니다요😉😁 여름 휴가 다녀오셨나요? 오랜만의 뉴욕 산책 함께해 주셔서 정말 감사드리고 프랑스에서 뵈어요~~~😘❤️😍🤗🫡

I'm old enough to remember when the Metropolitan Life Insurance building was the Pan Am headquarters for Pan Am Airways when it opened in 1960. On the roof was a helicopter pad that had helicopter shuttles to JFK AIRPORT and the helicopter flew about 10 stories above our house when we moved to Richmond Hill from Flushing 2 neighborhoods in the Borough of Queens, one of the 5 boroughs of NYC my old hometown during the Mad Men era of the 1960s. 😊
