I am of mixed Vietnamese and Indonesian blood. My father is Indonesian from Bali, while my mother is Vietnamese from Nha Trang. For some reason, I don't feel like staying in Nha Trang for long, even though my mother's brothers and sisters are there, even my grandparents still live there. the longest there was only 1 week. I feel more at home living in Bali. even though it's equally crowded

not that weird in context, pronouncing it in vietnamese, it doesn't sound like the two words you're thinking about. vietnamese romanization is just very silly to english speakers, and i get it 😅

there is no architecture that reflects Vietnam, they seem to have to emphasize local culture in building buildings like Thailand or Bali, if they continue like this copying China and Korea, over time they will lose their appeal
