As a Blink, I have endured several bad covers of Blackpink's music because they are not an easy group to cover. Their songs are VERY tailored to each member of Blackpink and the reason why the covers usually fail is because the people covering it try to replicate what can't be replicated, by design. Having said that, this cover is AMAZING! And the reason why, outside of the amazing talent of these girls, is because they didn't try to replicate. They took an iconic song that would ALWAYS be compared to the original and decided to switch it up completely and make it their own. And THAT'S how you make a Blackpink cover. Thank you for this. The VOCAL LINE of this group is incredibly strong!!! You cannot say there are only 2-3 of them that are good at singing because 7 of them can slay a live performance and make it look easy to do.
