747’s are quite rare at Oakland, I know on Christmas Eve of 2019, I saw 3 Kalitta Air 747-400, and an Atlas Air 747-400 at Oakland it was crazy

It’s only see b747 cargo. And before 1 year ago I see b747 atlas air and kalitta air when my mom take to school I just saw atlas air next 2 week my dad pick me up 6:00 I saw kalitta air.

Liao, go to a local flight school at San Carlos, Palo Alto, or Reid Hillview and schedule a Bay Tour flight. You could use the flight to get some great shots and maybe to get some spotting ideas. If nothing else, it's a fantastic experience.

I just thought of three areas from which you may be able to spot at SFO. Consider trying to access the rooftop, or at least a high level, of the long term parking garage on the north side of SFO, near the rental car return lots. The garage is directly at the end of the 28 runways, providing some great departure shots. Also, if you go to N. Access Rd off of 101, it will go back towards the air cargo area and some maintenance hangers. If you keep following the road until it ends, you may be able to get some unique shots of the departure end of the runway 1's. The third suggestion is to access the Delta Sky Club lounge. Since it was remodeled about 2 years ago, the view is amazing and I feel that you would be able to get some great shots of both the 1's and 28's. I don't have any suggestions for Oakland, I've only flown from there a couple of times.

Thank you David for the suggestions. I have never been to any of the locations you mentioned. Each of them seems to provide unique shots. I should check them out next time I go there. By the way, I might mention this before, but there are constructions going on at SFO. A new observation deck will go live in 2019. The demolition of the old Terminal 1 also gives us new spotting locations.

我的朋友福康! Again my friend, you have provided us with some great entertainment, and I tremendously appreciate your efforts. It is a shame you could not have found a closer location from which to video, but I still enjoyed watching the air traffic arriving in Oakland. Just like you, I have subscribed to “FlightRadar24”. On the days it is clear and I have the time, I enjoy taking photographs of airliners that happen to fly over my house using my Canon 80D with my 600mm lens. The next time you are able to provide us with a longer video of aircraft plane-spotting, I am going to make some screen captures of the different airliners and post those pictures on some of the airline/airliner Facebook pages I like. I will also give you the credit and include your KZbin web address. In this way, I hope to repay you for the many hours of enjoyment you have provided me with your videos and hopefully expand your audience. Thank-you again, my friend; 乾杯!

Hi Guerry! I hope there is a better spotting location at OAK that I can go to. Next month I will fly out from OAK for the first time. I will film some more about OAK then. I also subscribe to FR24 mainly because it provides flight path in .xml file, which works with my favorite app - Fog of World. You have a gigantic lens! The view from that 600mm must be great. I made a trip to LA during the past long weekend. LAX is heaven for plane spotters. The assorted traffic and the spotting locations are better than at SFO in my opinion. Unfortunately at the time of my visit the wind was unusually strong so that I could only film a few of them. I will share the film in a few weeks. I truly appreciate your willingness to help on expanding the audience. It would be extremely valuable to me If you could share my KZbin channel on social media or forums.
