Heading North through Paris, we start on the N104 Highway then join the A3 / E15 towards Lille.
Paris is the capital and most populous city of France, with an estimated population of 2,175,601 residents as of 2018, in an area of more than 105 square kilometres (41 square miles). Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of Europe's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, gastronomy, science, and arts. The City of Paris is the centre and seat of government of the region and province of Île-de-France, or Paris Region, which has an estimated population of 12,174,880, or about 18 percent of the population of France as of 2017. The Paris Region had a GDP of €709 billion ($808 billion) in 2017. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Worldwide Cost of Living Survey in 2018, Paris was the second most expensive city in the world, after Singapore and ahead of Zürich, Hong Kong, Oslo, and Geneva. Another source ranked Paris as most expensive, on par with Singapore and Hong Kong, in 2018.

When I lived in the UK, their road infrastructure was a total joke. They were busy converting existing joke motorways into what they termed smart motorways. 😂 As usual, this conversion works overran, over budget and didn't solve any problems it was meant to solve 😂😂😂 It was not unusual for just ONE vehicle breaking down to cause long, long tailbacks in traffic jams. The railways were just as bad, plagued by signal failures, power failures, points failures, broken down train, wrong type of weather, overhead power supply problems...AND they were expensive. Instead of taking people out of their cars and onto the railways and reduce air pollution, more and more cars were sold and more and more heavy goods trucks were taking to these joke roads creating even more air pollution.

@AJCVisuals all because their people do not want ANY new roads, railways, new airports, new doctors, new nurses, new teachers...so the roads get jammed with traffic and the railways don't work... avoid the UK otherwise be prepared to get stuck in endless traffic jams and on broken down trains

@AJCVisuals These people are known to close major roads at weekends. This means , if you are a tourist visiting, you're going to have to cancel your plans of driving to your tourist spot or pay extortionate train fares if you want to use their unreliable railways or be prepared to be stuck in huge traffic jams because the closure of the road has lead to massive traffic jams. Imagine booking a holiday in the UK , taking precious time off from work only to get stuck in enormous traffic jams? Clearly, NO thoughts have been given about how the tourist experience should be the best so the tourists will come back again. For me, it's once bitten, twice shy. The UK needs to build more roads in order for an over populated country to meet demand and keep traffic moving , at least think of the tourists?? Why should the tourists suffer?

@AJCVisuals potential visitors to the UK should always check with the UK tourist agencies to see IF there are any roadworks, planned road closures, planned train strikes, planned railway closures, etc BEFORE booking their plane tickets. If the answer is yes, abandon the plan, visit mainland Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc, or face chaos in the UK

@AJCVisuals latest news from the UK. Public holiday weekend. Never-ending Roadworks, road closures, planned railway closures etc are set to create Never-ending traffic jams and increased air pollution as bored people head out in their vehicles. No consideration given to foreign tourists who were lured into the UK to take a UK vacation who will now join these people in endless traffic jams. All because these people do not want any new roads, railways etc to be built.
