I think what a lot of people don't realize is the seamless transition from the talking skull to the first drop, you don't hear the music and singing because it's masked so well - both from the water white noise and the placement of the speakers.

Love it. Wonder if you use more of a fisheye lense would help capture a bit more on the screen on these dark rides.

I'm not a big fan of fisheye since they distort the image too much and aren't as bright as regular wide angle lenses

Only way to improve this would be a gimbal mount. Way too much camera shake.

Unfortunately wouldn't have been possible since these types of videos are shot on mostly manual settings, wouldn't be able to control the camera if it was on a gimbal

You can’t adjust settings on a camera when it’s on a gimbal, it will make it shake

The Barbossa animatronic needs an update. With all the modern technology they should make him taller like the one in Japan but give him a cool effect where he like shoots his pistol at the boat or something. I wish WDW still had that costume though.

It's clear that a few of these animatronics need some restoration. they LOOK just as beautiful as they did opening day but you can tell some the mechanics aren't working. Hopefully they do it sooner rather than later since this is one of their most popular attractions.
