The Honda Civic EP3 Type R is a great car in stock form. However, with some modifications, the car comes alive! Both the handling and the K20 engine can benefit from some upgrades and with this car here, that is the case. The current set up on the car is Tegiwa M induction kit into a Skunk2 Ultra Street inlet manifold, standard K20 engine, a Full Spoon Sports N1 exhaust System and an ECU Remap with a Hondavert ECU. The car is currently running 220bhp in this configuration. The suspension set up is YellowSpeed coilovers, rear camber arms and polybushed front LCA’s and a Progress rear anti roll bar with a fast road geo set up from Motion Motorsport and the gearbox has a Quaife LSD inside it.

Yeah, I understand that. I wouldn’t mind an exhaust system that is a bit quieter when driving around normally though. I might as well kill two birds with one stone and get a silenced 3” cat back. Should still sound great when sending it!

I have a Fast Road Suspension geometry set up that probably helps a bit. The Quaife LSD might help but it does pull you around the road! Haha

Yeah man! Still my daily! Still love driving it around! I don’t have a “daily commute” though so I don’t actually put too many miles on the car. It’s hard to say whether it would be less manageable if I had to do loads of miles to be honest.

Thanks man! Appreciate the support!! I think they are kinda similar on fuel so I think you have to decide on what you want to use the car for (as well as the daily). I would say the EP3 is more raw (road noise and rattles) than the FN2 so it’s up to you!
