[4K] Raidejokerin ensimmäisen Artic XL-vaunun saapuminen Koskelan varikolle

The very first Artic XL Tram no. 601 for the upcoming Jokeri light rail line arrives to Helsinki at Koskela depot on 9th of April, 2021. The new ForCity Smart Artic X54 is a 34,5 meter long and 2,4 meter wide light rail product of Škoda Transtech which is being manufactured in Northern Finland in Otanmäki. The new Artic XL is totally compatible with the current 1000mm tram network in Helsinki. It will perform series of test runs during the coming years in Helsinki before entering service in the Jokeri light rail line connecting the cities of Espoo and Helsinki with a circular 25 kilometre route through the suburbs.

Ensimmäinen Artic XL-vaunu saapui Helsingin Koskelan raitiovaunuvarikolle 9.4.2021. Vaunu kuljetettiin Skoda Transtechin tehtaalta Otanmäestä Helsinkiin erikoiskuljetuksena, joka lähti matkaan jo varhain saman päivän aamuna ehtiäkseen illaksi perille. Viralliselta nimitykseltään ForCity Smart Artic X54 on 34,5 metriä pitkä ja 2,4 metriä leveä pikaraitiotievaunu Škoda Transtechilta. Vaunussa on hyödynnetty hyväksi todettuja ratkaisuja Helsingin nykyisistä Artic-vaunuista yhdistäen ne uuteen moderniin designiin. Artic XL tulee liikennöimään tulevalla Raide-Jokeri pikaraitiotiellä sekä Kruunusiltojen raitiotiellä Kruunuvuorenrantaan ja Laajasaloon.

This tram came via Rotterdam, the Netherlands! I am very surprised, a spotter noticed it while he was waiting for a train on transport via the sea.
